In 2024, Yih Shan developed a CBAM carbon content calculation system, pioneering in addressing CBAM declaration concerns. This system enables systematic and rapid calculations of direct, indirect, and precursor carbon emissions in Yih Shan plants, providing customers with clear carbon data for compliance purposes.

In 2023, Yih Shan pioneered in the introduction of the ISO14067 carbon footprint calculation system, becoming one of the first company to collect carbon footprint data throughout the product life cycle. 
The system included integrated supply chain information on upstream materials, outsourcing processes, in-plant production, inspections, personnel, and transportation, allowing comprehensive calculation the carbon emissions of each process section. 
Large volumes of data are imported into the system to automatically compute the carbon footprint for each shipment. This forms the basis for carbon footprint management and reduction.

In 2023, Yih Shan took the lead in organizing a comprehensive greenhouse gas inventory and received ISO14064-1 certification from Bell Labs. 
Yih Shan has adopted 2022 as the base year for carbon reduction goals and successfully obtained the ISO14064-1 certification.

Yih Shan has implemented an energy management system (EMS) to monitor energy consumption and electricity efficiency across all equipment with the goal of optimizing energy use, reducing energy consumption, and improving energy efficiency. The EMS also helps lower labor and environmental costs, ultimately reducing carbon emissions.
